How to install a CVA Hawken ramrod retaining spring?

I have a dumb question! Where does the ramrod retaining spring go on a CVA Hawken? How do you install it? Thankyou.

It goes on the forward lock plate screw. Make sure the rounded part is pointing down.

I got the ramrod retaining spring in today from Deer Creek. I installed it in the muzzleloader with no problems. Thank all of you for your replies and advice! Was very helpful. Respectfully, cowboys1062.
