OTR flint lock history

I will try this forum;  I have a flint lock stamped
OTR  Mackay Idaho on the top flat and#163
with a shield outline with 2 lightning bolts iinside.
this looks like a proof style stamp.  The gun looks
fine and the stamping was not amaturic.  Thanks
for the help, a good rifle needs a story. woodburner

I seem to remember an "Oregon Trail Rifle Co or Works" but would have to dig to find an old advertisement to confirm and might not find anything anyway.

Probably 1970s-80s.
