Small Banded Horn
« on: August 08, 2011, 02:34:03 PM »
This little horn is about 9” around the outside  curve. The Walnut base is about 1 ¾”, held in by four steel pins. The tip is Whitetail antler and held with three pins. The bands were heated and pressed on, then secured with three pins each. Just for the heck of it I checked to see how much power it would hold and measured out 30+ 40gr loads. Would make a good Squirrel rifle pocket horn.
