The ALR Museum Committee has just received pictures of a unique and probably unusual Jacob Fordney personal presentation longrifle furnished in iron and unusual “sterling” sterling silver inlays. The engraving is top draw on every piece of metal. The Committee is requesting pictures ( anonymous as always ) of any Fordney rifles , particularly Jacobs to develop a special exhibit honoring this extraordinary Lancaster gunsmithing. Also any Fordney factual information to add to that already published would be appreciated.
