This sounds like a good product to use when hardening frizzens and springs cast in carbon steel. As anyone tried it?

Rolf, I've used it a few times with relative success. That being said, I in no way consider myself a "smithy". The pieces I used it on were indeed easy to clean after heat treating. Hopefully others will have more comment for you. Take care .. Bill
