Another fine shoot
« on: October 25, 2011, 05:04:20 PM »
Still another fine weather fall shoot..... Shot at Danville Sunday for turkeys and fresh chickens (I'll take the chickens over a turkey any day)  19 shooters, and just a perfect day little breeze 60 degrees.

This club went with 'different' matches.   i.e. A rentry agg :o  You could build your score by reentring any of the 4 targets you wanted to at a dollar a pop.  Paid 4 places.

They had 4 TWO shot targets 2 at 50 yds and 2 at 25.  Closest to the X was the object.  Different for sure.  One ol guy shot a 48x on the williams 50 yd target (the one with the white diamond.) Then ol man Pollock told him - nice target Roger; but you put too many holes in the paper... ::)  Embarrassing; but old Roger didn't want that turkey anyway.. ;D  Lesson: pay attention 8)

I'm just giving you a hard time Roger!  Pictures would be nice, but all this modern technology gets overwhelming to say the least!  I get my son to set up tvs, blueray players, stereos, etc., the world is a very complex place now.  At least shooting flintlocks is still the same as always!
