If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was by EK for Rice barrels to make a special run of 46" swamped barrels.

I believe there was enough interest for the barrels to be run and sold out.

Maybe EK will answer further.

The Rice 46" barrels are still available but are sold out. You would need to call or email Rice Barrel Co. to see when they will make more of them.

The 44" are standard Rice offerings.

Ed Rayl makes up to at least 50". I just picked up a 48.5 inch one at the Winchester VA show. Ed makes all his barrels to your specs (within reason).

Yep the first run of those 46" long Rice barrels went quickly.  If I remember correctly Jason told me they sold over 150 of them - way to go guys!  I'm sure it will now be a constant on their inventory list.  They should be getting back around in their order of running barrels to the 46" I'd say around the 1st of the year.  Not too bad a wait!

Ed Rayl can be found here I believe if my info is still correct

PO. box 91   18 Otter Ln
Gassaway, WV 26624
304-364-8269

Ed has made several barrels for me on projects, four to date. He makes a good barrel but you need to be patient. I have some customers that always ask for something weird and it requiers Ed to reset every thing so it is not always first on the list. With that said it is always worth the wait.

I stopped by Dixon's yesterday, and they had a few of the Rice 46" barrels in stock. Didn't note the caliber or weight. Give them a call if interested.
