You just save the wing bones from the Thanksgiving turkey.  I don't make many wing bone turkey calls much anymore, but when I did I would have family and friends save the wing bones from their Thanksgiving turkeys for me. 

If you missed out on getting the bones at Thanksgiving, you can by turkey wings at the grocery store, cook them, eat the meat or feed it to your dog or cat, and save the wing bones for turkey calls.  You can clean the bones by boiling them in water.  After cutting the ends off the bones you have to clean all the marrow out of the bones before using them. A piece of coat hanger helps in getting the marrow out of the bones.

As Randy Said the Christmas or Thanksgiving bird does well.  I also receive donations from co-workers during the turkey seasons.  The main supply though comes fromthe following website:
