Nate.........this one appears to have stripes painted on it. That's kind of funny, because many years ago I helped a friend
move some guns, and among them was a J. Fordney with those fake stripes painted on...........Don

Thanks -- I was afraid to ask
. It looks good enough not to be obvious at first glance, but they were rubbed off in some places a little unnaturally (e.g. around the patchbox).
