1803 Harper's Ferry

I am mentally starting my next project.  Considering an 1803 Harper's Ferry first model.  Looking for opinions on parts, precarved stock and lock.  Opinions and caveats about kits available.  I want to be as authentic as possible.  had a chance to pick up an original that had been converted for under $2000.  Passed it up because of the conversion.  Boy was I not thinking!
