Michigan......I built a saw handle pistol, using a mule ear lock. Due to the configuration of such a beast, the lock was
placed toward the rear of the pistol and the trigger was about 2" in front of the sear. I made a trigger with a straight
bar above it, and pinned it at the top. I then made a round bar that went horizontal in a groove made for it, going from
the trigger straight back to the sear. When you pulled the trigger, it pushed the bar backwards onto the sear.....
simple, ah. Depending on how you built your pistol, you could use a trigger like this, eliminating that transfer bar....
