Jack Brooks little Bonewitz lock...as discussed @ Boonesborough
« on: January 29, 2012, 08:31:52 PM »
I don't remember who it was yesterday at Boonesborough who asked me about the little lock on my boy's rifle.

By coincidence,  :o there's a picture of the original Bonewitz and one of Jack's FULL size copies on the contemporary blog today.  http://contemporarymakers.blogspot.com/2012/01/jack-books-lock.html
Jack also patterned the  3/4 scale castings, that I used for the boy's rifle, off of this same original.

Thought whoever that was, who asked me about it, might want to check it out.  Jack will sell castings sets if he has them, but I don't know about the availability of specific locks...
