warmed up

Warmed up to 50 degrees up here in Michigan, so got a  chance to go out and shoot my trade gun.  Felt sooooo good and that powder smelled wonderful.  Then I got to love on it a little while I cleaned it.

Cahil, made it to 47 here in Gaylord, but was too busy settling in my new client, who's finally out after robbing two banks a year ago last December.  Tuesday is my client day, and it keeps me busy, making sure they have stayed on their Med's.  Might get time tomorrow.

If it's not too windy, I'm going shooting today. Temp is expected to stay a couple degrees above freezing - if so, should be a nice pleasant day - as long as the wind doesn't get too bad. Need to target test both .40 and .45.

I won't even mention the temperature here in Central Texas.  Suffice to say that we haven't had any winter yet.  I hope we don't get any now because the trees are leafing out and my honey bees are bringing in pollen and nectar.  A hard freeze would really mess things up.

It was a balmy 69 here in Va yesterday so I took advantage and spent an afternoon at the range.  Gorgeous day and then some.

Its been so nice this week I got out the ax and saw and stretched my 60 yard range to 100.  Since backing off 75 to 100 yds, shooting at 50 seems boring ;D

Lynn- it gets that way after a while of mostly shooting 50 - then serious shooting at 25 does get a lot easier.

I am also in the Looking Glass River Longrifles (current president) and Brothers of the Wind (Michigan) and formerly Three Fires member. I also get to shoots at BrokenLock, Howard City and used to shoot a lot at Gr. Valley. and Laingsburg. Just not enuff time to go all those places every year.
Perhaps our paths will cross!
