gun builder from Natches

Anyone have any info. on a gun maker name Fry or Frye in Natches Mississippi.

Ephraim, I'm very familiar with gunsmiths from that area, but none by that name. I'd also be interested in any information.

Years ago I had a half stock caplock rifle with the name Fry or Frye of Natches I took it to be
Mississippi or Natches trace, I think he was a Black man from what I could find out.
  Not sure where or what book I found that in. I think he worked in Evansville as a young man to learn the trade.
