Is Fred still in the business? I will see him in April, but last year he told me that he was selling the business to a guy that was with him.... Now I could be totally wrong, but that is what runs in my mind, and there isn't much mind left to run around in.
I need to get some war clubs and was hoping he or the other guy would be at the show in April again.

You could also check with Mike Barton of Tigerhunt for War clubs. He has some different styles than what Fred makes.

The other guy is Dave Keck, Knob Mountain Muzzleloading. Dave has taken over the stock inletting and duplicating but Fred is still busy turning out war clubs. I was showing me some new patterns this morning that he was thinking about turning out. He had walked down to the shop today and was feeling pretty good. He was working on a war club when I stopped by.....beautiful day here today, most of it. Had a nice visit. He really appreciated all those who called/visited after his surgery. J.D.K.
