JDK, I think the shape of the forestock would be called an 'ogee', its kind of a double 'S' curve.
greybeard, I'm not sure what you mean by negative pitch? Whatever style gun I make, I try to taylor it so recoil, large or small, will push the stock directly straight back, or down and away from the face. I have been shooting 90gr's FFF, .490ball, .025"denim patching, off the bench, and off hand, with a summer shirt on, It gives me no problems, kind of like a 22 magnum. It is a very accurate gun and a pleasure to shoot.
The next town six miles east of me, Lima N.Y. now has wild hogs. The D.E.C. say kill them all, use whatever you want, anytime, just wipe them out. I'm on a mission.
Thanks for the comments fellows, they are much appreciated!!!
