Thanks Taylor
I can't wait to post some photos of the finished rifle, and then there is shooting it. Wow!

Seeing all these fine rifles is getting me antsey. I've a deposit on a Jim Klein kit that I can't wait to get the ball rolling on. I just retired, and getting used to a budget is tough.

I finally figured how to log onto Image Shack, so I updated the photo links in post #26.
My wife got mad, because I wouldn't show her my flintlock. Imagine that!
Yea Rick, this definitely gets into your blood.

I too need to figure out the image shack thing as well. I would like to post pictures as I go along with the new kit. Jim said that the stock was a "dandy" and it was left hand so I jumped on it. I'm also amassing building books and DVD's as well. My first build was a Jim Chambers Fowler that I got from a friend who lost interest in it. Needless to say, I enjoyed building it immensely but made many mistakes. This will be my second build and I want to take my time with it.

Read this tutorial Its pretty easy our system puts the HTML tags in for you, you just copy and paste the url of the image from the website where it is stored... Photobucket works well as does PICASA...They will even upload all your images automatically if you want.

Thanks Mr. Boone. I'll see if one of the offspring can do the heavy lifting on this one!
