Good pic's........That old Roger Fisher is a few years older than me (79), and he still shoots nearly every weekend, I do
admire him.   When I came home from the hospital after having quad. by-pass surgery, in May of 2003, I received a
letter from Roger, telling me what to expect, and encouraging me to think positive.    It meant so much to me at the time,
but never forgot it.....a good friend.  I plan to be at the fair on saturday only, bum ankle makes it difficult.   I do want to
measue Tom's little Lehigh rifle,   might make a frame for it so he can hang it on the wall..............Don

Don, an 8 1/2 x 11 frame will work just fine.

Roger Fisher is a s good as it getz. There is one fun loving guy, he's got the spark, and very supportive of the muzzleloading shooting sports. He's always got a kind word, even for a recalcitrant degenerate such as myself.

Looking at the radar it's happening right now....and worse it appears!!!

Was just here a while ago....Mifflinburg/Lewisburg/Central PA....and we kinda dodged a bullet in the valley here....Williamsport got hammered and the Northern Teir as well.

I'm just glad it passed through now and not tomorrow!

Enjoy and see you all there, J.D.

I was going to drive another hour or so, but have been fighting storms from Northern Michigan, so got off at exit 8. On I-80.  Ten hours is enough of this $#@*.  Remembered I left the garage door open, about the time I was at the Ohio line.  Called a neighbor, and all is good.  They even have a quarter a drink happy hour at this Holiday Inn.  Nice way to finish a ten hour drive.  If it's not hot wet, and sticky it's not Dixon's.

Just checked the weather, some t-storms forecast for both today and Saturday.  I'm pulling out in the Jeep at 5am tomorrow, be there by opening.   Dixons first and then Cabela's for hunting gear, best day trip of the year!

Sorry to hear you are not going Tim. I was thinking to myself the other day, I will miss visiting with Tim at Dixon's this year since I am not going.  I got too many local commitments going on.

I made the 1hr 45 min trip today. Had a great time, no rain, pretty slim crowd which made it nice to look around.  Great display of original Lehigh's in the back of the garage.
