Well, it's been a while since I last posted here. My Little .36 cal. Lehigh Squirrel Rifle may have been the last one I posted on. I may be getting in over my head but I figure this is the only way I'll ever be able to afford a Swivel Breech. I'm using Dave Waters book as a "Road Map" and basically designing my lock around an L&R Backaction lock. I'm trying to use the internals from the L&R lock and mount them on my lock plate using Dave's idea of a Clevis Block to shorten up the action. I've decided to use the front half of the Chambers Early Ketland lock for the Frizzen plates. The overall length of my completed lock including the swivel plates will only be about an inch longer than the original Chambers lock plate. Not too bad. I'm just getting started so here's a couple of pictures of where I'm at. Any and all comments are welcomed and appreciated. David
