Does anyone have any experience with this kit/parts set from L&R? Being a newish product I can't find much info about it. Quality, fit function, etc.

I want to build a small pistol to carry for snakes and this looks like it would fit the bill.

At the spring Friendship shoot, Bill Cox was there and had a "sample derringer" built from this set. It looked good.

I looked at a set of these parts in Ryan Roberts tent 2 weeks ago at the Montana Historical Gunmakers Guild annual meeting.  After carefull observation and some discussion with Ryan I decided to pass based on the lock.  The lock would need a considerable amount of work to get the trigger pull down to a reasonable pull.  There was also a screw under the mainspring that bothered me along with the very short sear.  My 2 cents worth.
