Bonewitz is missing!
« on: September 11, 2012, 04:39:45 AM »
It would be nice if someone would submit a Bonewitz rifle to the library.
I and many others would really like the opportunity to study one.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Gentlemen,  A presentation given to the American Society of Arms Collectors several years ago re: John Bonewitz is available on the internet.

Type in John Bonewitz.  A master page will appear. Scroll down to the fifth reference of;    Johannes Bonewitz - Master Gunsmith - Womelsdorf, Pa.
                 ASAC - Bulletin 89 - Bishop - Bonewitz

A similar version is also available in the recently 'out of print' KRF book 'Selected Articles from the KRA Bulletin - Vol. 1 - 30' published in 2005.    HIB

Great content.  Wish it had color!
