I finally finished the two guns to donate to the wounded warriors. These guns were 90% made from parts donated by the members of this forum. As you saw in a previous post, a third gun was built by Ed Wenger. At this time we have a fourth gun, a lefty, donated by a very good friend of mine. I'll try to get pics of this one soon.
Th walnut stocked gun has fiber optic sights, not PC, but for a reason. A soldier I hunted with last year with a TBI couldn't focus on the silver blade, so I made this one so other soldiers won't have the same problem.
Next weekend we are going to the range with all four guns to sight them in. The following week they will presented to Mindy Piccoitti, Hunts For Healing founder, along with the horns, bags and other accessories. The second week of October they will be used in a wounded warrior hunt. I won't be at that hunt, but will be at the January hunt and promise to post many pictures.
Thanks to all who helped,
Bill Daniel
