You might try contacting Jeff Hengesbaugh. He's friends with Gordon and I think he was showing the collection to people for awhile. I think you can find his contact info on his website, if you Google search his name

Dave,
You might also try contacting Herb on this site. He and Carney Pace were at the museum within the last year or so and may have some contact information.

We caught James Gordan just have finished a large tour of his museum. Holy cow man! Talk about sensory over load. I will be going back for a longer visit. I did pick up his three volume set for my library at home. If you guys ever get out this way it is a must do. Thanks again guys for your help.

Do you have his contact information for ordering the books? I've been wanting a set for a long time but thought they were no longer available.

RAT, they are out of print.  When Carney and I were at his museum last December, he had a set for sale in his museum, which Carney bought. His phone number is 505-982-9667.  If that has changed, Jeff Hengesbaugh can help.  You could also try an inter library loan.

Rat, Jim mentioned that he has more books at home so it would be good to  call to get your order in. I love my set.

I called and spoke with Jim Gordon yesterday afternoon . I'm sending him a check for the books this morning. He chuckled when I mentioned ALR. We must be a bad influence.

Did he mention how many sets he has left?

Sorry... he didn't, and I didn't really ask. I guess "some" is the only answer I have for you. I guess I stopped caring when I found out I could get mine. You'll have to give him a call.
