A little Help please
« on: January 20, 2013, 12:36:46 AM »
I have a T/C 45 cal Hawken that was my Grandfathers and he put it together as a kit.  bad thing is someone did not clean it after use and the barrel is trash.  i am thinking about using the barrel for practice making dovetails and soldering under ribs.
and i am considering purchasing a new barrel for the stock  I am wanting a good barrel in .40 cal that is 15/16,  the original stock is in great shape! looking for suggestions on what to re-barrel with in the mentioned specs

thanks

the interweb is a good place to plant rumors and get them distributed for free (sit back and watch them grow like kudzu).

i'd call GM if i was concerned.
