Caption later

Well I'm kissin hind teat again. Trying to get rid of a 90 lb trigger pull on rifle on the workbench.   Anyhoo forgive me for my lateness after my young blondie posted this target photo for me...

I/we all have shot some good shots in our time and this was one of my best/better ones.  This was shot at First Frontier as a 1 shot tie breaker in our silohuette agg.  I lucked this one in (although the rest of my agg was not so hot).  1 shot at 25 yds offhand, of course. Yes, it was fired with my wornout old 45 long rifle. Which is or will be 'treated' of it's ills by better folks than I and hopefully cured.  The old saying applies here,  Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while ::)

Jeez, maybe I should use that rifle at the Getz/Singer chunk shoot this summer; but only if she is cured.

Roger.....I'm assuming you shot this target???  See, I kept telling you to practice more.   If you would have, this shot would have removed the  little part of the ring at the bottom of the hole........Don

I hope you don't do that up at Singer's this summer. At least not as many times as I do, hehe.

When my neighbors first got into shooting BP, they thought sabots were the hot thing and that balls couldn't be accurate.  I joined them one afternoon with mine, shooting round balls patched with square ticking and lubed with oil, which they thought was hilarious.  I let them shoot a couple of groups off the bench and then sat down and shot one at 50 yards.  I thought I had missed, because the spotter took a while, but then he looked up and said "I don't know how you did that, but it just couldn't have been any better!".  When I took a look, it had made an almost perfect donut out of the round orange sticker.  Purest of luck, of course, so I got up like I was done shooting off the bench and pretended every shot went that way :)!

don't they?

it's a lot easier if  you shoot the paper first and make the markings later.   ;)

nice shot.
