Trigger, guard and sideplate look a lot like the ones that J.P. Beck used on his rifles. The architecture could pass for Beck's time, too. Nothing on the barrel top or bottom? Gun could be a rebuild off of an earlier rifle, perhaps even a Beck. How is the nose held on? Does it happen to have three rivets? I don't see it has having been built by him, but then I don't have it in my hands to judge.
