Yesterday's shoot
« on: March 12, 2013, 01:22:30 AM »
1st Frontier (Eastern Pennsylvania) held their 'season opener' yesterday with fine weather and 29 shooters, meat prizes (which were fairly spread around the group).  Fine shoot and the shooters enjoyed it, helps make the work worth it.

I know I had a great time at First Frontier on Sunday.  I came home with three meat prizes - a six pound roast, a pack of four one-pound pork chops, and three pounds of Italian sausage.  I cut the roast in half and cooked three pounds tonight and it was awesome.  The meat was very high quality.

The aggregate was fun, but I got beat out by Mike Amico who had 110 to my 100.  The paper targets were good also.

I was shooting my Duprey Lehigh County .45 cal. flinter and it shot wonderfully.

This was a shooting weekend as I had shot at Brandywine on Saturday, bringing home two meat prizes.  Mike Amico and David Wright were there too and both came home with meat.  They were new faces at First Frontier on Sunday and vowed that they will be back.

Thanks to Roger and his crew for a fine shoot.
