New lock
« on: December 31, 2008, 10:36:34 PM »
Thought some might like to see the nice work Stan Hollenbaugh did making his Ditchburn lock which was then engraved by Ken Hurst.  After seeing the photos on line I should have been more careful cleaning the lock before photos were taken- but you all have seen shop dirt before.  Ken certainly gave me more engraving than I expected for the price.  If you can zoom in on the photo the fine shading work is something special.

Oh someday to be able to engrave like that!!

Stan does nice work!!  Can't beat his double action, single set trigger either. He is also a great help.

Does anybody know how to get hold of Stan?  I have an e-mail address and tried to contact him but I can't get any response.  Don't know if I have the right address - or if he is just busy.  Anybody have a phone number for him?

Tommy, just be patient.  I think Stan only responds when he has nothing better to do.  But he will respond  to email eventually.  He has a website you can find in the links to this board.
