Finished single brl rifle
« on: December 31, 2008, 04:00:11 AM »

For those of you that are new, I have posted this rifle during the carving process.  The rifle is finished now.  I used this rifle to do a silver wire and leaf tutorial which is all done.  I have all the pictures for the tutorial but have not organized the pictures just yet.  I know that Tim Crosby and M. Kemper are waiting for it and it will be done shortly.

This rifle is a rifle that I built for my son to match the  two swivel breech rifles  that I built for him  and myself two years ago, which I refer to at the father son project.

Stunning, absolutely stunning. I love the pattern welded lockplate and sideplate.

Did you forge the lock? Excellent work.

Hi David,
That is superb work.  I have always been a fan, but your craftmanship continues to amaze.  To single one thing out probably isn't fair since everything is fantastic, but the lock  is what caught my eye this time.   With your permission, I'd like to add a couple of these photos to your page on my web site.  I haven't given up on a phone interview either.

Best regards,
Larry

Dave, I'm in awe --- what can be said when no words can describe the beauty of this rifle. The workmanship is truly a work of love.
So --- where's mine ;D ;D ;D!
