Approximate weight of a 3/4" straight octagon barrel 42" in .40 cal?

I wrote up a thing for my Apple II years ago then put into a spreadsheet it gives about 4 pounds.
Used to use it for calculating barrel weights got BP Cartridge Silhouette rifles.

I have a 3/4" -42"- .38 here in shop that weighs just under 3 3/4 lbs. without breech plug.

The Dixie Gun Works catalog used to have a chart of barrel sizes and calibers giving the weight per inch. I don't know if they still do that. My old catalog has the chart in it.
