The Haneys held their St. Patrick's Day shoot on March 17. There were 11 shooters, on a very windy day. I think I came in sixth. Was really busy helping a new shooter with a .54 Hawken I built, he only dry-balled once. But he tied for second and won a fifth of Irish whiskey! That's me in the fur hat.
My two Hawkens are on the right, had trouble with the Cherry Corners set triggers on that second one. That looks like a left handed flintlock on the left. I will be very happy to build a shorter and lighter flintlock for these shoots, I don't like cap guns.
Kyne ready to go at the shamrocks. I ain't going to tell you what that surprise target is that is wrapped up!
There were three left handed shooters, a fourth was unable to be here. Carl in the background pulling the cable to release the running leprechaun.
Skunk again. There are some good outfits and rifles here. We sure were happy to get in out of the wind, to the corned beef and cabbage and Irish whiskey and Guiness.
