Screw Tip Horn
« on: March 28, 2013, 08:24:52 PM »

The idea for this one comes from the center horn on page 64 of Grant’s Powder Horns and Their Architecture. It is about 12” around the outside curve. The Apple wood base is held in with 4 steel pins, it is hollowed out about ¾ its length. The tip is horn, threaded 12-13. The color is Brown fabric dye with a little Black in it, followed by Brown shoe polish.

Tim,
This one is right on. Simple and well executed. See you in a couple of weeks?

I like it. Simple and very sharp

Is this the start of a movement? Screw tips can become rather addictive.
