Applied lobe "quilt patterned" horn.

Latest horn off the workbench. Just did a somewhat geometric-like quilt-ish lookin' design over the entire horn. Then added a little Pennsylvania "dutchie" influence with two distlefink's on the lobe with a tulip in between. Thanks for lookin'.

Sir; Great looking quilt style lobed horn. I have (2) two "geometric-like quilt-ish" looking horns. One (1) is a large storage sized horn and (1) is a right side carry horn. Thanks for sharing the pictures. AJ.

So did you attach the lobe with 18th century epoxy or 21st century hide glue?

LOL Kermit.....21st century hide glue....I highly doubt anyone will do carbon dating on the glue to determine its age anytime in the near future.

It's an applied wooden spout. Same 21st century hide glue used.

Beautiful horn. I like everything about it. I just ruined my project horn and walked away from it
