Went to the buffalo roast today at the santa fe trail rendezvous and picked up some items i needed.
Great deal on a new antler pan charger for my flintlock.
Picked up a new powder horn that's very heavy duty and should hold over 3/4 pound of 1 1/2 fg olde eynsford. Already put the rest of my OE into the horn and we'll see how it holds up with use.
Tired of my Hawken not having a good cover, and this was the only cover I could find at the shops, a bit pricy at $40 but its thick and the rifle fits real good and snug in it. Two thick leather straps to wrap around the stock and tie it off tight is nice as well.
Overall, I did pretty darn good and got some things I needed to replace broken down equipment or stuff I just flat out needed.
