Comments:
This is quite a pretty rifle in all of its aspects; wood, architecture, inlays with bold engraving, and overall crafting. Much about it suggests an Ohio origin, though that may not be so. Probably somewhere along the Ohio River Valley might be a good guess. Condition is excellent and it was either not used much, or it is a rather late gun of the 1800s. No mention is made of the gun being signed, nor are any numbers given for it.
