What a unique and interesting piece of art. I really enjoy how this maker can capture the spirit and look of the old-world which seems to be something few people are doing.

After reading this blog entry I think it would be interesting to take a class on making your own buckles, tooling and other hardware, that is impressive and something I would love to learn how to do.

This is one of those things that just blows me away. This is more than just a cool hunting bag. It's bit of arcane history that is being re-created 'just because'. But why? All these things, ancient or lost, add up somehow to where we are today.

  I love this bag. It is the picture of creativity. Half the fun of owning such a piece would be all the "Experts" that would ridicule it. You need to make a nice Celtic patterned flat horn to go along with it.

This is one of the few originals I used for inspiration. Had the chance to buy it a couple of years ago and later when I got the funds together it was gone. It was found in the Netherlands.
