I found a gun stamped A. Hardin on the barrel and am wondering about who he is? The ad say John Wesley Hardin was his brother. Any truth to this?

Alfred Harden , Vinton County Ohio, Town of New Plymouth. Signed His Guns A. Harden. 1850's.
There is 3 Hardin's in Sellers, but none have first names starting with an A.
