Three Old Horns

Here are three horns that were brought to the Log Cabin Trade Fair on Saturday. The two are York Co horns, one in every good shape, the other at one time lost its tip and the neck was opened up to fit a shot measure that was probably also used as the powder measure.
The third I thought interesting because of the screw tip, made of Cherry very rounded collar, the horn is threaded not the collar and walls are very thin. Add to that the bulbous base and I am thinking this maybe a Valley of Virginia type horn but I have seen similar collars on hunting horns brome both New England and Western North Caroliana. I would like to hear what others think.

I quite like the third. The collar and screw tip are very intriguing.

All three are fascinating horns. The Cherry tip is really neat. I might have to do something similar. Thanks for the pictures.
