I like em. In fact, I like the whole outfit. I love how the Horn and Measure match so well.

I like the whole rig ;)
Nothing beats the feel of a handmade southern iron mounted flintlock on a cold frosty morning

Entire set looks great. Would love to see with the gun!
What kind of wire did you use for the vent pick?

Gun is a Roy Stroh N.E. Fowling gunne.
I use a old harness needle and retemper, for the pick

Those look great.  Wish I had the talent to do things like you have done.
I would like to see the fowler that the bag and Accoutrements you made belong to.

Nice looking outfit.     Here is a helpful hint if you wear this stuff when you go hunting.   Shorten up the straps that hold the
horn.  Bring the horn up to the point where the bottom of the horn will be even with the top of the bag.  You will find that it
will flop a lot less, and will make it easier to get into your bag........Don

Very nice stuff!! While shortening as Don suggest you may consider staggering/ spacing your tools a bit more so as not to rattle while stalking or running from Injuns....

I recently put my loading tools on my bag strap by putting the loading block on one end and the measure and starter+measure on the other end of a single thong.  The starter is small and will slide.  By using one thong that could slide through a single strap hole I can pull it up tight and stick one end in the bag to control the flopping.  You just about need a block for shooting a .30cal.  Easier to preload the block than fight the small balls and patches.

I also put my loading tools inside the bag when moving. The bag has a long strap on one side. This I fasten my belt around. It keeps the bag tight to my side. :)
