I thought i'd share,
4-1/2 pied barrel[57.5"] .62 caliber
European Walnut stock , TOW "Tulle" lock, engraved by Ron Luckenbill.TRS hardware. Barrel inlet by Mark Weider.
A few things I'm not happy with,But thats part of the learning.

Beyond the novelty,
What on earth are you going to do with a 57" barrel

Shoot canoes with it... a 4-1/2 pied barrel is a most period correct length in the 2nd quarter of the 1700's

alex,
With a barrel that long he can be the paddler in the back of the canoe and lay the barrel on the shoulder fo the front paddler for a rest from which to aim steady.

Nice work Alex.
It's nice to see a fusil with the proper length barrel and nice architecture.
