Chuck's work is so well done.  He is a very quiet, nice guy and you don't hear a lot about him, but I think he is one of the best out there. The rifle on the blog is one of several he has done in this late flint style - he is more known for his wide butted early style rifles, but as Rich pointed out his style is very bold, crisp and clean.  Of course there is the Hershel influence, but Chuck took his rifles towards his own style that is instantly recognizable.  Have always liked his work.

I like Chuck's work. He has a good sense of style from my view.  The sort of thing that's just part of someone's makeup.

That is one of the most elegant rifles I have seen. A real piece of art. Chuck did the English engraving on my nearly finished 1740 English stalking rifle. It is just exquisite. He is a very talented builder. A fine person and a Paramedic to boot!!  ;D

I like that gun too. I like his fowling guns even better, although he doesn't build many off them.

I know this is an old(er) post, but I'd like to see this rifle referred to of Chuck's. Or if there is some place, a website (which I couldn't find) where his work can be viewed. Thanks.
