Agreed, Jud has long been a favorite of mine. He's one of the very few who can do a highly decorated rifle that looks right, and not just like a lot of decoration on a long-rifle form- as Jim said, a 'full composition'. His stuff is just, well, cool.
I wonder if those bolts tie into tabs to hold the cheek-piece inlay in place, kind of like how the butt-cap on a pistol is held in.
