The tang looks far too new, looks like some decorative fluff to fill an old mortise with a replaced tang screw, and the lock looks reconverted from what I can see in the non-close up photos. The pipe is a little funky too but I could get past it. Overall it looks scrubbed at the least. That said, 2nd or 3rd decade of the 19th century I'd say, could really be anyone as it's a generic piece. There are lots like this out there. I can;t seem to zoom in on the pictures so it's tough to get a real feel for surface, detail etc.
The forestock molding termination looks like someone added it later. I'll bet it was just a line that petered out, would be more typical that way, but someone had to 'improve' it down the line.
Overall profile is pretty nice for the era.
