I have seen quite a few longrifles that have been misidentified as to maker's here on the internet. This one from a very reputable seller seems a bit unusual. Anyone have an idea as to the Bedford maker of this rifle?

My guess is that he was thinking of Peter White and goofed up the last name. Shelby Gallien

I like guns that are "untouched and straight out of the woods", that have the barrel shortened by 5" and have a dab of putty here and there.
