My Shooting Pouch And Horn.
« on: July 20, 2014, 09:30:36 PM »
I had Tim Albert make me a double shooting pouch and a horn made by Roy Howman.
Pick and Brush made by Orville Mumma.  Bag knife is a Hershel House.  A cane powder measure made by me.
This is a very nice set of Accountments.  I will use this Horn and Bag with my Early Va rifle and my Isaac Haines rifle which both are 50 caliber.

Tim did an excelelnt job on making the double pouch.  Roy worked with me on the horn which has my name and a map of the Middle fork of the Holston River which runs behind my house.   He also included my coat of arms.  Very nice job which I like a lot.

That's a beautiful set indeed. Always fun to see what people put together as a set. It must have been similar to this in the early days of this country. These should bring many years of enjoyment.

I agree with skilman, very neatly and cleanly executed. Great work all the way around.
