purchased 2 modern shotgun barrels 12gax36"cyl bore. I would like to jug choke them. how thick would the barrel walls need to be? the wall thickness at the muzzle is .075. anyone have experience with this?

Your can contact Caywood Gunmakers with your question since they do jug-choking. Danny just jug-choked a thick walled trade gun barrel in 20 ga. for me. I think the cost of choking was $95 not counting postage and insurance. 870-423-4741

just for general info. Lowell tennyson said he wouldn't do a jug choke on a barrel thinner than .090"
