Field Stand for Rifles
«
on:

Needed a stand to hold my rifles while paper shooting. Used some scrap 1/2" square and round stock I had in the forge. Also made an open eyelet to hold my range rod. All I need to add is a piece of scrap carpet with a couple of half inch holes and it will be ready for use.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

No bottom plate....Is it intended that the two legs at the bottom be driven into the ground??? Good news and bad news at my range....cement floor!!
Way kewl idea though! nice work too!

Dr T, no cement where I shoot. Have to drive my target holder in the ground also.
Thanks for the compliments.

I've seen a couple of variations of these and this is a good one! Very nice indeed.
No cement where I shoot either!

Look under "shooting accessories". Some plans there that would work for cement ranges.
