If this needs to be somewhere else, please move it. i apologize.

I am wondering if anyone ever built and sold flintlocks through E. Christopher Firearms of Miamitown, OH back in the 80s.

In 1988 I bought a (then new) flint "barn" type rifle: beautiful ash stock, W.L. Cochran lock (Stophel tweaked it for me a few years back and replaced a spring), straight octagon .50 cal, no butt-plate but a black horn return on the top. Bean-style iron trigger guard and iron ramrod pipes.

I am really trying to find who may have built it. If possible.......

Twice now I have had people tell me that this could have been built by Mr. Cochran himself and not just a rifle built around one of his locks. I have no idea. But if this could have been one of yours or someone's that you know, please chime in. I am just curious.

thanks all.

E. Christopher was a cool gun shop back then, purchased a few guns there.
