Newbie looking for any information on a Newman Davison .50 cal flintlock. I inherited from my uncle and don't have any information. I also have a few others that I am curious about. Any resources? Thanks for help.

Are they antiques? Or made recently, like since 1960? Or are you trying to determine which category they are in?
Pictures will help, a lot!

I believe they made post 1960 but really don't know. This one is too well put together to just be a wall hanger. I know he placed in some matches with it and the percussion hawkens - and a few plaques show he won some stuff- but dates are long ago and I don't know what weapon was in hand.
