I met Jim at the KRA show last year, we had adjoining tables.  It was  a great time getting to know each other, a genuine gentleman, workman and Christian.   A Merry Christmas to all... Ron

Read the last letter to the editor in this issue. There are truly some amazing craftsmen among the ranks of the long rifle culture. As I slowly improve (hopefully) I am continually inspired.

Wade, muzzleloader magazine has been around since the early seventies. It was sold last year from the original owners,  the scurlock family to Jason gatliff.  Between muzzleloader and muzzle blasts , I would have to go with muzzleloader. My opinion only, only time will tell if it stays as good as it was during the Scurlocks ownership. I personally have had a subscription for some time, a coupla three years and I have just re-newed for 2 more years for $51.00 I think.

Topknot and others thanks for the kind words. This is my first add with Jason and the Muzzleloader magazine. I retired from the engineering field in June of this year and have gone to building and doing restoration work full time. Going full time into gun building has been a dream of mine for a long time and now it is becoming a reality.

Jason was really a big help with the add and very pleasant to work with. Muzzleloader Magazine is a top quality magazine, if you love our sport and our history you need to receive Muzzleloader Magazine. ;D

Thanks again, Jim Parker
